PRESS RELEASE 9th Oct 2002

BPPG appoints new Chairwoman

The Better Payment Practice Group (BPPG) has welcomed Dominique Vaughan Williams of the Association of British Insurers (ABI) to the role of Chairwoman.
The ABI is one of 18 members of the Group, which was set up in 1997 as a partnership between the public and private sectors to campaign for a more positive payment culture in the UK. Dominique took up her post during the first week of October.
Commenting on her appointment, Dominique said, “Late payment is a problem which can hamper any business and potentially have disastrous consequences. The BPPG has worked hard to help businesses tackle the problem, providing a wealth of credit management advice and information about the UK’s late payment legislation, particularly through their website. I look forward to helping to drive the Group forward over the next 12 months.”
