PRESS RELEASE 19th December 2002

BPPG launches Online Credit Management Glossary

The Better Payment Practice Group (BPPG) has launched an extensive new glossary of credit management terms for UK business owners and managers.

The user-friendly glossary contains over 150 terms and has been designed to help business owners and managers decipher terms and phrases that they may encounter in their day-to-day dealings with customers. The glossary may be referred to when creating and implementing credit management policies, invoices, letters and other credit management documents.

Peter Rowe, Director General of the Institute of Credit Management and member of the BPPG commented; “ We believe the glossary will prove to be a useful tool for businesses, particularly those which do not have a specific credit manager. Some credit management terminology can be confusing to those who are not experts in the field and we hope that our new service will help overcome this barrier.

The glossary can be viewed by clicking here.
In addition to the glossary, the BPPG’s website hosts a variety of credit management advice and other credit management tools, including sample invoices reminder letters and credit application forms.
