Richard Wilson appointed as new Better Payment Practice Group Chairman
The Better Payment Practice Group (BPPG) has announced the appointment of Richard Wilson, Business Policy Executive at the Institute of Directors, to the role of Chairman.

The Institute of Directors is one of 18 member organisations that form the BPPG, the cooperative forum of representatives from the business community and Government that seeks to help improve the payment culture amongst organisations trading in the UK.

Richard has been a member of the Group since 1998, having joined shortly after its inception. Commenting on his appointment, Richard remarked: “There is a real need for businesses to understand the impact that late payment can have, both on their own balance sheets and on the rest of the business community. The Group has been working hard to remind businesses of their responsibility to one another in this respect and I look forward to helping the Group build on the success it has achieved to date.”
