Hello, im a Self employed artist and want to know if the 30 day late payment applies to me when invoicing companies or agents?
what do i need to write in my invoice if so,

Hello Adrian

You can use the legislation just like any other business. You do not need to add anything to your invoice but we recommend adding We understand and will exercise our statutory right to interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 if we are not paid according to the agreed credit terms.
If you do not have credit terms with your customers, the default is 30 days. It is a good idea to make yourself familiar with your rights by reading the Users guide .
